Of course we all like to have some days when we just wish to think about nothing, keep the mind idle & blank. Like a spa for the brain.
That's pure bliss. Basically nothing to do with anything . When you look back there is a hint of guilt but then is'nt it worth it.
In our busy & buzzy world filled with bland colors , the whole hustle-bustle just keeps us occupied but we are actually just staring at changing dates on a Laptop/mobile screens because physical calenders are so passe. Making an irritating daily 'to do' list & there is that exhaustive feeling, always.Though you never can guess what that 10 hour a day work is worth..yes , besides some money in your bank account. You can consider yourself a moron if a beep in your phone on the 1st of every month gives you a kick??
Still , it is not something that defines you because it is not anything you identify with. You see an apple for 10 days, you might get used to it, same is with a Job or a chore.
Its just a means to an end which is to use the spare time to have the Perfect Nothing days.
Ironically , it should have been the opposite, but nonetheless. Duties and responsibilities can bog us down. The savior is a day off, not for just for your body but an official day off for your mind.
Its all worth the while, sometimes when you look at yourself from the sidelines , smiling that its good to do nothing someday . A light, airy feeling gives you a day which is a 'perfect nothing'. No strings pulling you down, no worries tumbling over your head & no hurries to reach a place where you never wanted to be... just your time under the sun, only you . Forget not , live a perfect day doing nothing.

The subdued trepidations of the modern human being. Nicely put. I can relate to this post. How I wish that there were days when I could say that I had nothing to do!!!
Thanks Anand.. The trick is to keep your mind idle and give it a break. Very difficult .
